A PostgreSQL GUI built for the Mac
SQLPro for Postgres is a native macOS app for working with PostgreSQL databases. It requires macOS 14 or later and launches instantly, with no Java or other runtime to install. It follows your system appearance, with light and dark themes.
Connect anywhere
Connect directly or through an SSH tunnel, and choose any SSL mode from disable to verify-full. It works with self-hosted servers and managed services including Amazon RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Google Cloud SQL, Heroku, Supabase and Neon. Saved connections can sync to your iPhone and iPad through iCloud Keychain.
Write and run SQL
The editor has syntax highlighting, autocomplete for tables and columns, query formatting and tabs. Run one query or many and see every result set, with its timing and any errors, at the same time.
Edit data in place
Select single cells or ranges like a spreadsheet, change values or delete rows, and review the generated SQL before it runs.
Design tables visually
Add or change columns, indexes and foreign keys without hand-writing ALTER statements.
Import and export
Bring in CSV files, and export results and tables when you need to share them.
